Advertising, Vendor & Teaching Privates Policies

Policy for Advertising Other Events and Selling Services/Products

Advertising

You are permitted to advertise other Zouk events at ZTN. If you wish for your event to be promoted by ZTN in person, print, or online, you may sponsor the event. Sponsorship opportunities include cash donations, competition pass donations, and purchasing a vendor table. You may also set up one banner (standard event pull-up banner size) in our designated banner area.

We do not permit paper flyers to be left on tables. You may physically hand out paper flyers to interested individuals, but we strongly encourage a paperless approach.

We do not permit advertising your event in other instructor’s workshops. You may announce your own event at the end of your workshops or work out an agreement for promotion with an instructor to announce the event after their workshop, but you may not advertise or announce your event during another instructor’s workshop.

We do not permit posts by other organizers on our official channels advertising other events.

Selling Services/Products

All vendors who wish to sell services/products publicly at the event and/or who wish to have a table to sell products must purchase a vendor pass or make an agreement with ZTN in advance of the event. This includes media vendors that are not otherwise hired by ZTN. You are also responsible for providing your confirmation of insurance to ZTN, staffing your table, and making sure you meet all requirements for providing your service (for example, massage therapists must comply with BC regulations). If you need help determining whether you meet the requirements for providing a service or product, you may contact us.

Instructors may sell products (for example, shirts or DVDs) at the end of their workshops without purchasing a vendor pass.

Teaching Privates Policy

Instructors who are on staff or have a Full Pass are permitted to teach privates at ZTN. Non-staff instructors must have a pass to the event and may be required to pay a floor fee ($20 per hour, CAD cash or by credit card) if using event space to teach privates. All instructors must comply with venue rules and requests when teaching.
