Venue Policies
We have a beautiful venue for both the pre-party and the event. We expect all attendees, staff and volunteers to respect the policies and rules of those venues, including rules about smoking, vaping, and alcohol use. We expect you to follow these rules. An automatic ban will be in place for any individual who is evicted by any of our venues, without refund. Similarly, if any attendee is, in the sole view of ZTN, disrespectful or abusive towards any staff of any venue or the event, we may choose to ban you with or without refund.
Lastly, we’re thrilled if you meet someone special. But, please make sure you avoid overly expressing your connection in event spaces (private spaces, with consent, are just fine). We want everyone to have a good time, but we also would like to keep using our venue and ensure all attendees feel safe and comfortable 😉
Eco Policy
ZTN tries its best to be as green as possible. As a result, we attempt to not print unnecessary signs or papers, to re-use any printed materials that are required. Therefore, we do not offer paper copies of our schedule. All our scheduling information can be accessed digitally at the registration desk, through Danceplace, or our website.
We also try to minimize the amount of plastic throw-away items and other waste we produce. We encourage attendees to bring their own water bottles or reuse their disposable cups.
Children and Dependents Policy
You are welcome to have dependents under the age of 16 attend the event with you without a full pass. However, they are not considered attendees of the event, and Zouk the North makes no representation or guarantee as to the environment’s safety for your child, music explicitness, availability of childcare, etc.
If you bring your child or dependent, you assume all responsibility for your child, including ensuring they are properly supervised and do not damage the venue or event materials. Any damage caused by your child is your sole responsibility.
Breastfeeding is permitted at ZTN, and we have a zero-tolerance policy for shaming parents who are breastfeeding.
Access for Participants with Disabilities or Limitations
You have the right to participate in Zouk the North activities in a way that accommodates your abilities and/or limitations, unless such accommodation would prevent others from partaking fully in the event or it is too arduous to allow the event to run. For example, you are entitled to have a support person for the purposes of providing personal care, support, or access to activities (if this person is also participating as an attendee, they must have a full pass. If they are solely a support person who will not be participating, they do not need to have a full pass.)
You are also permitted to have with you any personal equipment necessary to support your limitations or abilities, provided it does not negatively impact others in the area and does not violate the law or rules of the event. For example, using medical marijuana indoors is not permitted, but using a wheelchair, walker, support braces, crutches, seeing eye dog, or other device is fully permitted.
