Are you new to Zouk and still getting the hang of your foundations? This program is for you! Enjoy a full workshop and intensive experience catered to the abilities of newer Zouk dancers – starting with learning the Basic Step, Simple Turn, and Lateral on Friday night.
How do I know if this pass is for me?
The Trailblazer (Newcomer) Full Pass is for you if:
- You are still getting comfortable with social dancing Zouk or you have never danced Zouk before and
- You have not been dancing Brazilian Zouk more than 9 months before Zouk the North, even at a basic level and
- You have never been to a Brazilian Zouk festival or congress event before and
- You are not planning to compete in the Novice division or higher in Jack and Jill competitions (Newcomer division is included).
If this doesn’t sound like you, pick up one of our Regular Full Passes! You can still take any Trailblazer classes that catch your interest.
What does the Newcomer Full Pass include?
- Trailblazer Workshops from 8:00pm Friday to end of Sunday
- Social dancing Friday to Sunday
- Spectator for Shows & Competitions
- Free entry to the Newcomer Jack and Jill competition
Newcomer Full Passes do not include Friday daytime workshops or Thursday pre-party, and are ineligible to compete in Novice or higher divisions in Jack and Jill competitions.
